The Non-Violence AllianceThe Non-Violence Alliance is a national leader in the field of batterer accountability and change. With roots in the domestic violence movement reaching back over twenty years, our services focus on counseling ling for mandated and voluntary batterers. With numerous groups available throughout Connecticut, we are working to end violence in families. . In recent years our work has focused on batterers as fathers, child protection interventions, community prevention efforts, developing train-the-trainer material and identifying batterers in medical settings. The Non-Violence Alliance has produced various curricula, including Dedication (a forty hour training curriculum for batterer intervention facilitators), Approaches and Practices for Working with Batterers (a program manual for working with batterers) and Being Connected (a curriculum for working with fathers).
